1. Update on 2024 MAN State Olympiad

a. Date
```Saturday , 11th May, 2024```

b. Deadline for purchase of pin
```Saturday, 4th May, 2024``` by 4:00pm

c. Deadline for online registration
```Tuesday, 7th May, 2024``` by 12midnight

d. Centre
Fourteen centres across the State. Candidates can only write the Olympiad at the centre chosen during the online registration.

e. Accreditation
7:30am (Olympiad starts 9am prompt).

F. Duration
*1½hours for Primary.
*2hours for Junior and Senior.

g. NOT ALLOWED
i. Use of calculators
ii. Statistical tables(four figured tables)
iii. Mathematical sets
iv. Rough paper for calculation
You only need a pen, a pencil, an eraser and a ruler.

2. Procedure

a. Registration Fee:
The registration fee is ₦1500 per candidate per Category.

b. Pay the fee to the Association's Account:

c. For Registration Pins
Send the scanned copy of the deposit slip/receipt and the category paid for to 08116743710 (WhatsApp only)
The pins will be sent within 24hrs.

3. Past Questions
Chat the Vice Chairman for soft copy.

4. Release of Olympiad results
Monday, 10th June, 2024
You can only check your result with your pin (The one you used for the online registration). You can print it for future reference.

Good day esteemed Parents and Educators,

Be informed that the Olympiad Student of the Year Exam and the African Mathematics Olympiad Exam, previously scheduled for July 5th, have been rescheduled to take place on Tuesday, July 29th, 2025.

This revised date aims to accommodate participating schools' end-of-session activities, including examinations and graduation ceremonies. Further details regarding guidelines and examination venues will be communicated in due course.

I just got this news ooo...

Nigeria has now been delisted from the International Maths Olympiad, whose finals are happening in Shanghai, China, this July.

It is one of the most prestigious academic competitions in the world.

Nigeria can now only participate as an observer nation, while other countries can participate fully.

This was because of the Ministry of Education’s inability to fund students for 4 consecutive years through National Mathematical Center.

It’s a big shame for Nigeria.
