Dear Esteemed Members,
AFED LAGOS STATE OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ON THE NEW CURRICULUM – LATEST DEVELOPMENT
Please be informed that the Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Lagos State Ministry of Education, has directed that schools in Lagos State commence the implementation of the Federal Government’s revised curriculum for the following classes with immediate effect this term:
• Primary 1
• Primary 4
• JSS 1
• SS 1
Kindly note that all other classes will continue to operate using the Lagos State Scheme of Work.
In addition, Yoruba Language for all the listed classes will still be taught based on the Lagos State Scheme.
Please also be informed that the usual termly examinations will align with this new directive.
Attached to this correspondence are copies of the newly released Federal Government curriculum for your reference and implementation.
