WAEC will no longer print Result Checker PINs on smart cards.
They are moving to a biometric attendance system instead.

HOW TO CHECK YOUR 2026 WASSCE RESULT
When results are released, do this:

1. Visit the official portal:

2. Enter your details on the page:
- Examination Year: Select `2026`
- Examination Diet: Select `WASSCE FOR SCHOOL CANDIDATES`
- Candidate Number: Enter your 10-digit exam number
- NIN: Enter your 11-digit National Identification Number

3. Click “Search” to retrieve your Serial Number and PIN online.

Use that PIN to check your result on the main WAEC result portal.

ATTENTION: ALL SENIOR SCHOOL PRINCIPALS

WASSCE FOR SCHOOL CANDIDATES, 2026: CANDIDATES’ RESULT CHECKER PINS

I am directed to inform all Senior School Principals that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) is transitioning from candidates’ electronic attendance using Smart Cards (Candidates’ Identity Cards) to a biometric attendance mode.

Consequently, the Smart Card, which previously contained candidates’ Result Checker PINs, will not be available for the ongoing WASSCE for School Candidates, 2026.

Principals are therefore requested to sensitize all candidates that adequate provision has been made by WAEC for them to access their Result Checker PINs online upon the release of results. Candidates are to visit serial-pin.waec.org, enter the required examination details, and follow the instructions provided to obtain their Result Checker PINs for checking their results.

All Principals are enjoined to ensure that this information is communicated promptly to all concerned candidates to avoid any difficulty in accessing their results upon release.

Kindly ensure strict compliance and wide dissemination of this information among all SS3 candidates.
