How to Turn JAMB Practice Scores into a Weekly Study Plan

Many JAMB candidates use practice scores as a final judgment, but a score is more useful when it becomes a plan for the next study session. A simple weekly review can show whether the real problem is knowledge, question interpretation, or time management.

Begin with one timed set in a single subject. After marking it, record each missed question under one of three headings: I did not know the topic, I misunderstood the question, or I made a careless error. The first group needs a short revision lesson. The second needs practice with wording and examples. The third needs a slower checking routine.

At the end of the week, count the errors in each group instead of looking only at the total score. If the same topic appears repeatedly, schedule it before attempting another large set. If timing is the main issue, practise shorter sections with a clear time limit and leave a few minutes to review answers.

Candidates with limited data can download notes and past-question materials while online, then complete most of the solving offline. When another explanation or structured study guide is needed, ExamScholars has Nigerian exam-preparation resources here:

The aim is not to chase a perfect practice score. It is to make every wrong answer identify one useful next action.
