JAMB wishes to bring to the attention of all candidates seeking admission for the 2026 academic session the following mandatory requirement:
"If you have ever been admitted to any tertiary institution (University, Polytechnic, College of Education, or any other approved institution) in previous years, you MUST officially withdraw from that institution and properly declare your admission status on the JAMB platform."
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
You are required to officially withdraw from the previous institution through the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
You must accurately declare your previous admission status during the Change of Course/Institution or admission process.
Failure to disclose and withdraw will result in automatic blocking of your current admission offer by JAMB.
This measure is put in place to prevent double admission, ensure transparency, and maintain the integrity of the admission process.
Any candidate found with undisclosed active admission in another institution will have their new admission nullified.
NB: Admissions conducted outside CAPS remain void. All processes must be handled officially.
Candidates are strongly advised to comply with this directive to avoid any disappointment or loss of admission slot.
This is a mandatory compliance notice . Ignorance will not be accepted as an excuse.
